I used 1 Caron Cakes Yarn/ Red Velvet Yarn Needle Stitches: Chain (ch) Half Double Crochet (hdc) Skip (sk) Slip Stitch (slst) Size: 34 inches X 14 inches"

NotesThis is my First Crochet Design specifically designed with the Caron Cakes Yarn in mind. And I absolutely love how it turned out.,
This lovely Scarf is designed using Caron Cakes yarn in Red Velvet. With rich shades of reds and grays, it is the perfect color choice.

I really, really like this one. Using the Caron Cake makes it easy to coordinate colors, and best of all, no ends to work in! The shape of the scarf itself is so unusual (albeit pleasantly so) that youre sure to be noticed whenever youre wearing it. The designer provides a well written set of directions, and includes an embedded instructional video for this specific project. Ive worked up several of this designers creations, and they are always clever and fun.

The Red Velvet colorway is a nice one from the Caron Cakes variety. I made a large sofa sized afghan for my sister using this yarn. The stair step design is a little more tailored and modern in design than most other Caron Cakes scarf designs. The little loopy fringe is fun!
