I love the rugged, chunky look of this scarf/very long cowl. The open lace design doesnt look especially feminine. In a neutral color as illustrated, it would work equally well for a man or woman. The author has provided a matching hat pattern, detailed photos for the scarf, and a video links to specific stitches and steps for the project.
