I loved doing this pattern. However, I turned this cowl into a prayer shawl for my best friends aunt. I made a 15 inch wide by 54 inch long shawl in Herrschners Home Chunky Twist Yarn in Opal using a Tunisian 10.5 mm crochet hook (that was difficult to use in the beginning but I got pretty good crocheting with this hook in the end). This shawl came out so soft and beautiful. My friend's husband said that it was so beautiful and amazing. Now my friend wants one too. Well her birthday is coming up next month and it would make a lovely gift.

adore this pattern! lovely and quick to make and looks fabulous on! made quite a few as Christmas gifts! i used chunky wool with a size 9mm hook.
