Chunky Crochet Scarf with Leather Snaps
Say goodbye to the traditional scarf pattern, and say hello to the Chunky Crochet Scarf with Leather Snaps! In this must-have accessory, a chunky crochet pattern and a leather strap combine to create a scarf that's stylish with a bit of an edge. Glossy snaps are placed on the leather strip so you can open or close the scarf as much as you want, while the crochet scarf pattern uses wool to create a warm and cozy accessory. The result is an avant-garde take on the traditional scarf pattern and may be just the challenge a crocheter needs.

This chunky cowl really blew my socks off! The designer provides step by step photos of exactly how to attach the yarn to the leather edges as well as constructing the cowl itself. The Wool Ease Chunky is one of my favorite yarns, and just perfect for this project. I have a friend who works leather, so Im going to let her handle that part of this project, and make a cowl for her in exchange.

This scarf looks really cozy and like it could be designer! The buttoned leather strip really takes it to the next level.
