Chunky Yarn Cowl
"This crochet cowl is so fast and easy to make. It uses chunky yarn. The cowl is worked in the round with basic stitches. Crochet it in a solid color or combine colors using your favorites. This cowl is so warm and fluffy. Blog post contains link for a free video tutorial for visual learners. This cowl makes a great gift. Scarfs can sometimes get in the way but a cowl is a great alternative to scarfs. Enjoy!"

If I had to choose between cowls and scarves, I would choose a cowl every time. It gives me the warm neck advantages without my inevitable tendency to drag one end of the scarf in the mud when it comes loose. Besides, it usually works up much faster and uses less yarn. This splendid example is going straight to my pattern collection for next year!
