I always appreciate projects that are part of a matching set because they make such wonderful gift items. One gift is nice, but two together is even better. I also love that the author is suggesting a readily available yarn in a variegated color. Even if you cant find that specific yarn, you have a pretty good idea of what shes using if you need to make a substitution.
