The skill level shows that it is easy but the finished product sure does not look like it. That is why I went straight to the directions. The designer did not use any special crochet techniques but there is a LOT of directions. If you are ready for a challenge, this might be the one.

Well, seeing the designer's picture of the round afghan spread out over her patio table gives me the idea that it could actually be made into a very pretty table covering! Of course, you would have to use a much lighter weight yarn and adjust your hook size. But if you're knowledgeable you could certainly do it!

This is so pretty and so adaptable. Make it the wZy it's shown, which is great, or alternate rows of two different colors. You could also add a contrasting color to the edge. My friends think that was my wonderful idea but I didn't tell them I ran out of yarn and had to finish with some other color. Here's another thought, switch to really thick yarn and a jumbo hook and make yourself a pretty throw rug! I put puffy paint on the back so it won't slide.

This is definetely a pattern I want to make! I love working in the round, and the pattern is easy to follow. I like the color, and it would make a cute baby blanket! If I were making this for myself, I would definitely choose a pink or purple color, or a variegated yarn. I think that would make this pattern stand out even more.

This will be beautiful in any color and uses some very basic crochet stitches. I can't wait to make it! I have crocheted a lot and I think this would be a good pattern for someone who has finished a few projects, but it really shouldn't require a lot of experience. AND what a beautiful, impressive gift to give at a baby shower!

Wow beautiful! Thank you for the pattern. Ill definitely add this to my to-do list. I want to make a blanket for a special friends baby and this is perfect. The instructions are very detailed and clear and very easy to understand. The stitch count chart is a rare find on patterns.

This round design lapghan is so pretty with the scalloped shells in between the ripples. It uses a nice bulky yarn with an "I" hook, of course. How adorable this would be for the baby's nursery. This would also be a great charity project for the old folk's home. The bulky yarns are always super soft so it will be perfect for them.

My first glance at this free pattern for the Teal Round Ripple Blanket was quite intimidating. How ever when I read through the instructions I totally felt like I could accomplish this beautiful piece. There are no stitches used I am don't know how to crochet so this project has been placed on that ever growing to crochet list.

This looks like it would be a fun pattern to do! I like that you can make this in whatever size you like. I think you could use a medium weight yarn. It would just take a little longer to get done. It would be a little lighter weight, as well. The rows look like ripples and open shells.

I love the simple pattern of this project and how it still looks very elegant. Im a little concerned about the yarn weight bulky/chunky would be used up quicker and would call for more skeins (therefore a pricier project). I can easily see this being a very lovely pillow pattern (or a pillow and blanket set!). Im glad there are different width choices and I may choose to start with the smallest width. I can only imagine this getting heavier and bulkier (to fold up) as you make it bigger...
