Crochet Paracord Trivets
Take a break from your yarn stash and mix things up with these Crochet Paracord Trivets. These homemade crochet trivets are helpful to have around because they provide a protective layer between a hot dish and your table. Paracord is a woven-nylon thread that can be used in a variety of different emergency situations, so these trivets are also a great thing to bring with you on a camping trip or other outdoor adventures.

Will the nylon melt?

The author addressed this question in the blog. She said she heated a pan in the oven at 450 degrees and then set it on the pad, and it did not melt. She was worried about the same thing happening. I hope this helped! This really is a great pattern, and one I will likely be trying in the future for something different.
