"Sunny" Glass Case
"Thinking about the sun and beach, I knew I needed a case for my sunglasses. I wanted something cute, and, thus, designed the cute little sun to go on it. I used cotton yarn in red, white and blue. The flap closure is done in white, with one star point. I used a 4 mm hook. It was about an hour long project. Easy and Quick makes for a great combo when it produces something pretty and functional."

My sister always had two pair of prescription glasses. She had a regular pair and a pair of sunglasses. She would have appreciated this eyeglass case. This would have been one of those gifts that were truly used.

This is one of those practical crochet projects. For those of us that would lose our head if it was not attached to our shoulder, there is a great design to attach to the outside of a purse or backpack to help you keep track of those big sunglasses. The design is simple and the rewards that you get from keeping up with your shades - priceless.

This is a cute project for summer. You can make it in the patriotic colors the designer suggests, or decide a different color scheme on your own. I love the happy little sunshine appliquI can find so many uses for that little gem. Consider other appliqus to match whatever color scheme you decide. This is definitely a project to get creative and put your own stamp on! Why not add a little carrying strap?
