Now I would not mind having this spider in the house. Is is not just the cutest? Appliques are so fun because they can be used in so many ways. This is a great Halloween applique but it could easily be used for any other time of the year. To make it more interesting, crochet your spider in all the colors of the rainbow.

As soon as I saw this was a Golden Lucy project, I immediately started looking for the hearts. This is so clever, and if you worked it up in red or blue, it would make a wonderful little crab as well. Seriously, if you havent completely immersed yourself in her webpage of amazing appliqus make primarily of simple hearts, you are missing out!

Look at this cute and fun little spider for Halloween! There are so many uses for an applique such as this one. You can actually buy a length of ribbon of your choice and hot glue the crocheted spiders, evenly spaced, all through the length of the ribbon. You now have created a fun Halloween themed garland for your home!
