This is a really cool idea. A cozy with a handle. Not that you would every let it go but that extra band is a great option. This project does not take a lot to make and as stated could be a great item to gift in masses. I know as a retired teacher, I would have liked this.

What do you know, a cozy with a handle. What will they think of next. The cozies were just too cute for me just from the standpoint of having a "different" cup. Now a little handle with the room for a card is just the best. I can see gifting these and including that perfect coffee gift card. Thanks for sharing this pattern.

This is one of those patterns that make me say... Now, why didn't I think of that? It's okay! I will use this pattern (which somebody else invented) ! What is great about this coffee/tea cozy is that it includes a flap for your hand to tuck into and to help you hold firmly onto your cup. I am assuming these are made for a general 16 ounce coffee cup- from what I can see in the picture. Would these work for a personal coffee mug that the gift recipient has at home? Anybody know?

What a great way to protect your hands from the burning hot temps of your travel mug. Everyone loves their hot coffee, but no one likes to feel the burn on their hands. This will also help protect from burning in case your overfill your cup and some leaks out in the process of moving.

Now this is a really, really clever idea! A cup cozy with a built in hand slide! Now no matter how many people bump into me between the coffee bar and my favorite table, no chance of dropping my cup now! Using bulky yarn and a size N hook, this works up in a matter of minutes. These would make great bazaar sellers, too!
