"This crochet scarf pattern can be worn in a variety of ways: as a bathing suit wrap or a head wrap for hanging out on the beach, or a dress up wrap or even a cowl for evening dinners. It is a simple design that will go well with any outfit. I did not use specific gauge or measurements in this free crochet pattern so that it can be easily adapted. Since the colors are what I really wanted to stand out in this pattern, it is a very simple design and will be easy to change size."

I know the designer has posted several photos suggesting various uses for this project, but I think some of them are stretching it a bit. And I mean that literally. Youre basically making a square, working a border around it, and folding it diagonally. You probably should make a larger version if you want to wear it as a wrap since the original instructions wont be large enough. And I love that yarn! Just gorgeous!

It all comes down to your personal taste. For me, I need to make this bigger. But not oversized. I just like the look of more drape on the hips, and more fabric around the shoulders, if I am going to be using this as a swimsuit cover-up. Inventive idea! Thanks for the pretty pattern.
