This is a coaster pattern but it can be so much more. Made in fewer rounds this could easily be a small flower that can be applied to home made projects. And just the opposite, made with a round or two more and stack a regular and a small you can have a three layer flower. These are cute as coasters but think outside of the box.

This is a very good on so many levels. First it's very easy, secondly it doesn't take much yarn and third, you can make it for different occasions . Just play with colors. Red, white and green, for Christmas, Fall colors for Thanksgiving, etc. Best part, toss them in the washer if they get dirty!

Very easy and basic flower coaster. Perfect project for the beginner. You can make several sets of these coasters in no time at all so these would also be great for a church or school fund raiser for Fall festivals. Can be made in all combinations of colors. Include different colors in a set or keep them all solid.
