Liliana Ladybug
"This easy peasy crochet ladybug softie pattern is easy to adapt by adding more or fewer spots, and you can make one in an afternoon for a last-minute gift or road-trip companion. Ladybugs remind me of summer, and they have been used in New York City for years to ward off other insects. Each one seems (to my eyes) to have a unique spotting pattern. This is the first pattern in the second Summer Quickies Crochet Along with CAL Central Crochet. Skills Used Basic crochet stitches: chain, single crochet Crocheting in the round Magic loop (includes linked video tutorial) Seaming with whipstitch (includes linked photo tutorial)"
Crochet HookF/5 or 3.75 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet GaugeThrough Rnd 10 in pattern for Bottom = 4” (10 cm) diameter. Exact gauge is not critical for this pattern. Stitches should be small so fiber filling doesn’t show.
Finished SizeApproximately 5” (13 cm) diameter after stuffing.
