Wow what a nice twist to crochet the Double-Sided Scrubby Dishcloth. This pattern is well written and so easy to make. I really like the way she does the scrubby side by working in the empty looks. A simple single crochet can make up a great dish cloth. I have saved this one and hope to make them. I have always had a hard time using the scrubby yarn because it messes up my fingers. Does anyone else have a problem using this yarn? How can I get it to stop messing up my hands and fingers? Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

This is a much different take on using the Scrubby yarn. Rather than working each side separately, the cotton part is worked first, then the Scrubby yarn crocheted directly onto the completed fabric. It sounds like it might be a little tricky, but the empty loops are really quite visible. I also love that it only takes a fraction of the pricey Scrubby yarn other projects do.

These scrubby dishcloths looks like the perfect cleaning cloth and there should be several in every kitchen. I love the concept of them having one side as a scrubby side and the other is a soft cotton side. These will make great bridal shower or house warming gifts. They are even machine washable.

For me having the skill to crochet is great because I'm able to do projects that I want to do. Like this scrubby dishcloth. I only know dishcloths to be colored green and boring. But this Double-Sided Scrubby Dishcloth makes cleaning fun because now I can make my own dishcloths customized according to my preferred colors and size. This will be a perfect gift as well to family and friends. I'msure they will appreciate this. Thanks for the free pattern.
