"The Heart Table Runner is an easy way to add a touch of Valentines Day to your decor. Dress up your table for a candlelit dinner or add a bit of love to your coffee table. The Heart Table Runner is made from cotton/cotton blend worsted weight yarn. This is filet style crochet with a written pattern and a link to a graph. This is a simple project to work up consisting of double crochet and chain."

I really, really like this one! Im so used to seeing Tapestry hearts embedded in everything that it was a delight to see the same thing in Filet crochet. I love how the designer adapted her pattern from another idea. The only change I would make is to work the hearts in opposite directions from a central motif. That way you could place those pretty flowers youre getting for Valentines Day in the middle of the runner.

This is really cute! Why NOT treat yourself for Valentine's Day and make something for yourself? Also just as nice, how about giving us a green table runner with a graph design in a shamrock for St. Paddy's Day? I'm not one for graphs, so having a written pattern is more to my personal liking.
