Adorable Retro Bloom Scrubbie or Coaster
"It really is true that crocheting and working with other hobbies can relax you and soothe your nervous system. As if it was automatic, I picked up my hook and started to play. Ta-Da! 15 minutes later, I had two of these made. Not only do they work up quickly, but they are so crazy simple to make."

Heres a clever little project where how you use it depends entirely on the yarn you choose. Its a great scrap buster, so you could even combine a scrubby yarn with a cotton center or vice versa. If you want a cleaning cloth that wont damage glass, then acrylic or cotton is the way to go. Coasters could go either way, too, although most people choose cotton to catch the condensation.

This easy pattern is great for making coasters even for beginner crocheters. I would suggest adding one or two more rounds so the coaster is a little bigger.
