This Two Hour Toddler Beanie is a great project to work up when you have a few hours to yourself in the afternoon. Worked up in just one solid color, this crochet beanie pattern is a simple piece that is crazy easy to customize. If you are making a hat for a little girl, consider adding a crochet flower. If you are crocheting a hat for a little boy, you could always skip the applique.

Love the pattern and the back story for the creation of this hat. Eight-ply yarn is used and if I am not mistaken this is just worsted weight yarn in English terms correct? If not, somebody please comment back and let me know. The hooks used seem to be very large for that weight yarn though.

This lacy cutie is perfect for a baby girl. My brand new great niece Phoenix will be about 4 months old this Easter, and I think Im going to surprise her mama with this hat. We live in the mountains so sometimes your Easter bonnet can be frilly, but more often than not, were still having cooler weather. And if I work it in cotton yarn, she can keep wearing it all through the summer. Just adorable with that flower!

This is a cute hat and the back story the designer gave us on how she came up with the idea of creating this beanie was very touching. I see that this pattern was originally posted five years ago, but I am just now seeing it. I am so glad that you guys here at AllFreeCrochet keep your patterns on here for quite a while.

This is such a cute beanie for a little girl, the mesh-like pattern makes this work great for almost any season of the year! Can't wait to make a bunch of these in different colors to give as baby shower gifts!
