Snowflakes Messy Bun Hat
You've spent a lot of time perfecting your super messy bun, so it almost seems a shame to cover it up with a hat. The Snowflakes Messy Bun Hat is to the rescue! This cute crochet messy bun hat is a stylish and cute take on the traditional crochet hat while also offering plenty of room for your messiest hairstyle or ponytail. This crochet pattern is easy to make, and the blogger notes it can be modified for different sizes. Consider using yarn in contrasting colors to really make the snowflake design pop against the hat's background.

This project really looks more knitted than crocheted. The author mentions something called the Waistcoat Stitch, so I watched the included video tutorial, in which the author demonstrates working this stitch both flat and in the round. Ive never seen this stitch before, so I bookmarked it to watch again. The snowflake design is incorporated into the hat itself rather than applied after the hat is completed.
