Dusty Blue Bulky Crochet Beanie

The Dusty Blue Bulky Crochet Beanie is your new go-to winter hat, and it's available in any size you could want, from newborn all the way up through large adult. This easy crochet beanie is worked up in the half-double crochet stitch, a simple, chunky stitch that looks great. This is a perfect quick project to work on if you're in need of a last-minute holiday present, or if you want to make the same type of hat for your entire family. Use a solid color, as shown, or you can add some stripes throughout if you're comfortable changing colors.

NotesNotes:
-Hat can be started with a Magic Ring or with the instructions given in Round 1
-Starting chain does not count as a stitch
-Each round is started in the same stitch as your starting chain
-The end of each round is joined by slip stitching in the first hdc of the round, not the starting chain

How can i get this free pattern ad free. Every time I try to print it , there are adds across the pattern

This bulky crochet beanie is definitely a universal pattern. Anyone can wear it, you just need to pick the right color and size. I am thinking I would like to have one of these in so many colors! What about a variegated color? That would be beautiful! What is your favorite color for a hat?

There is a campaign going on now the make and wear blue hats on October 1 to show your support for anti bullying of kids. It is a great reason to start making hats and this one would fit right in with that campaign because it is an easy pattern and it is given in several different sizes.

This is really the easiest basic beanie pattern that I have come across. I don't think you really need to know how to do the magic ring to construct this hat. I made many a hat without it. You just won't get a completely closed off hole at the top, but it will come pretty darn close. It is a great practice piece for beginners as it uses a formula for increasing rounds.

This is a very easy pattern that even a beginner crocheter or teenager could make this beanie.

Now there is no reason for those noggins to go out uncovered. This is such a simple and easy pattern to make. The designer was kind enough to provide the directions in multiple sizes so everyone is covered. Next time we go out on an outing and I need to spot my crew, this is a great way to have us all alike to that we can stand out in a crowd. That Christmas parade will be here soon enough!

This is a quick and easy project that can get you a finished project. Every member in your family can have one of these by the end of the week in their favorite color. Thanks for the multiple sizes directions.

Please can you tell me the yarn requirements for these hats? Kind regards, Lynne Clark

I've always been fascinated with double crochet beanies. That is why I decided to make several of them in different. colors. One or two of them I have given out as present, I have sold several with matching scarf and I will keep on making more for giving away and for sale. Loove beanies especially double crochet beanies. Thanks for the patterns which has been presented in different sizes. So generous with the pattern. Thanks a lot.

This simple beanie is perfect for fall and the start of winter! The color is lovely, and it looks light enough that you can wear it simply as a fashion statement if you wanted.
