Round the Mulberry Bush
"Rainbow colors go round and round, punctuated by lightly textured, grey stripes. With a cotton/acrylic blend in vivid colors, this simple hat is just right for summer. It uses small amounts of several different colors, so it is a great stashbuster project too."
Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook, H/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge13 dc x 8 rows = 4 inches, with larger hook. Gauge is important for a good fit. Take time to check gauge.
Finished SizePattern is written for 6-12 months, with changes for 18-24 months & 3-5 years in [ ]. Circumference: 16 inches [18 inches, 20 inches] (note, this should be 1-2 inches smaller than the actual head measurement) Height: 6.5 inches [7 inches, 7.5 inches]

This round the mulberry bush hat is definitely a great hat to make and wear any time of the year. I would not wear a beanie during the summer most likely, but I definitely wear one during the winter! With only using a small amount of each color, this is definitely a great stash buster piece. You could also make a matching scarf. How cute would that be?
