Eden Cloche
"The Eden cloche uses a light and airy stitch pattern that makes this a great spring hat! It's a perfect fashion accessory for walks in the park, digging in the garden, or picking a spring bouquet. Because of its lacy design, it can be modified up or down in size using different hooks and weights of yarn. I used a 5/8" ribbon for the lower part of the hat, but you can use a wider or narrower ribbon to suite your tastes."
Notes-It is possible to make a toddler size using a 4mm (G) hook, and a teen/adult size with a 5.5mm (I) hook. You'll follow the same instructions that you did for the child size.
-Regarding the child size: The smaller the child the more slouchy this hat may be on them. Just pull the ribbon tighter, scoot the hat back on your child's head, and let the top part of the hat slouch down. There are so many cute ways to wear it!

However did you know my 3 year old granddaughter needs a new hat? Shes growing so fast that shes outgrown the Toddler hat I made for her last year. This cloche is just perfect! I dont know what I like bestthe floral design on top or the mix of stitches on the sides. Ill be making the Child size this time (just change the hook size to go up or down.) Her nickname is Rose and of course she loves pink!
