This hat has such a fabulous retro look that I just HAVE to make it for my wonderfully retro friend, Heather, who is going to LOVE it! I am still thinking about what colors to use but the bulky yarn coupled with a size 9 hook means it is going to be quite a quick project which, for this crochet junkie, is always good lol.

This is a super cute bean for a young lady. I love the flower accent and the colors are beautiful. I like the contrast between the light blue and black. This makes me think of a hat worn the 1920s. Very cute and classic looking. The pattern seems pretty easy to follow and understand. I think my daughter and I will give this a try and make it together.
