Delight Hat
"You can substitute any yarn and hook for this stitch pattern – just remember when you substitute if your gauge is different, the finished size of your project will also be different. The striped effect is vibrant and bold, while the solid color is more subtle and the stitches are the star of the show. I think the Bright Stripe Delight Hat will make a great statement piece during the cold, gray and dreary winter months – plus the brighter the yarn colors the easier it is to find the person wearing it!"
Crochet HookI/9 or 5.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

What a cute little hat and such a cute little model too. I especially like the one on the designers blog that is made with rainbow colors. The instructions come in two sizes child and medium adult, but it looks like it would be really easy to enlarge or make smaller for more fitted sizes.

I am loving the bright stripes ombre hat! WOW, what a stunner! Am I right in thinking that I could make at least two adult hats with one skein? I prefer my hats to be very stretchy and having a pattern like this enables that to happen, without having to go up a hook size. A yarn pom or a faux fur pom would look very retro sitting on top!
