Hubby's Favorite Beanie
This is definitely going to become your Hubby's Favorite Beanie. Make this easy crochet hat pattern for him in his favorite color and he won't want to take it off his head. This would make an excellent birthday gift or holiday present. This warm beanie will keep his head warm and toasty all winter long. Plus, beanies are great fashion statements for men.

A great variation to a mens crocheted hat. Using gray for the last two rows and for the finish gives it a designer look. Great way to use up any left over bulky yarn, for the trim that is. Pattern seems easy, using double crochet and half double crochet for the finish row.

Great hat for guys. It has a very masculine look to it. I also learned a new work on the designers blog. I love this pattern. I am going to make one for my husband then making one for all three of my boys. Who knows, I may get motivated and start on some early Christmas gifts.

I made this hat for my brother. Fits perfect. I too like that the rounds are joined with a single crochet. Fixing to make another. Probably a solid color. Love this pattern, very easy.

The pattern doesn't work out to look anything like the photo. As someone else said, it's flat and out of proportion. Aren't there supposed to be decreases somewhere? I pulled it apart several times, used different hook sizes to no avail.

Working on this , what is wrong with this pattern ? I am on row 12 and it looks like a lid or frisbee . I have been crocheting for years. Used J hook and worsted acrylic yarn a tweed color, was so anxious. Now I just want to toss it. Pleas tell me what is wrong !!!!!!

I made this hat for my husband in a "camouflage" yarn (I think it's by Red Heart). He loves this hat and wears it out all the time. I made him a few others but this seems to fit him the best. He does have quite a large head but because it stretches a bit it is perfect. I really like how the creator of the pattern has you complete each round with a slip stitch because I have seen many patterns (when using multiple colors) the area where it connects is lopsided.
