"Decorate your home or office with this adorable stuffed trio of spooky characters! They would also make excellent gift/candy bags for a children's Halloween party! All three versions of the design use the same base bag pattern that consists of single crochets. Simply change the color for the next character. The embellishments are commonly found items in any craft store and the parts that are crocheted are very basic and easy to crochet. There is some minor sewing involved with the scarecrow's button eyes and also sewing on the crocheted facial features."
Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge15 stitches and 19 rows in a 4” (10cm) square of single crochets.

These are so adorable, and that Scarecrow just stole my heart. Once you make the basic bag, you can craft any expression you want. You could also turn a green bag into a witch or Frankenstein monster. Different stitching on the white and you could have a skeleton face. Or grapy purple for a one eyed, one horned version. Love this clever idea!
