Crochet Skull Mason Jar Cozy
Creating the right atmosphere for Halloween is a delicate balance of slightly spooky and super scary. If you have young trick-or-treaters, you don't want to cross into the realm of Hollywood horror. Work up a few of these Crochet Skull Mason Jar Cozies to create an environment that is both eerie and youngster friendly. These are great because the light from a candle in the mason jar shines from the eye and nose holes, making the decoration a little bit creepy, but definitely cool. These would be fun to place around your porch, or to drink a Halloween-themed beverage from as you hand out candy.

This skull mason jar accessory is right in my wheelhouse. I could make a dozen of these for candle jars that I bought from the dollar store. It would make a great hostess gift! I like projects that require such a small amount of yarn. It looks like it's worked in double crochets. Easy-peasy.
