DIY Wreath for Halloween
Give your home a festive touch this fall with this DIY Wreath for Halloween. Black, orange, and purple yarn is used to crochet a ribbon that you wrap around a metal wire wreath frame, and pumpkin decorations and black flowers are added for extra decor. Create the "boo" letters with cardboard and black yarn. This wreath design is super simple to create and will definitely make our house stand apart from the rest this season.

What I like to do when I see project like this, is use it for inspiration. I take the parts that appeal to me and use those, and then the stuff that I don't necessarily care for, I just omit them or change them up to suit my taste! It is really a cute idea! She leaves the door open for you to exercise your creativity.

Easy peasy, lemon squeezie. I am in agreement with JaneEK, I love the idea that the wreath is wrapped. This project can be done from start to finish - lickity-split. After the holidays, unwap and store for next time.

Sara, the designer really provided us with a very easy project here. At first glance, I thought that the wreath was stuffed in the shape of a circle. Sara wrapped a wire form and added embellishments. This idea can carry over for every season if you crochet the wrap in the colors that are associated with the holiday. I NEED this. Thanks, Sara.

This is one of the easiest crocheted wreath projects Ive seen. Instead of working a tube and trying to squeeze something in the middle, this one is just wrapped like the tulle wreaths that were so popular recently. The only change I would make is to see if I couldnt find a pattern for some crocheted mums or other large flowers instead of buying something from the floral department.

Love the simple pattern and with a few personal touches, I would absolutely make this! For instance, I would do orange pumpkins instead of black flowers and add a ribbon bow behind those, and definitely like the idea of adding a bat with the BOO hanging.

Yes, I'd make it if I had the time and I agree with the comments about a BAT, a PUMPKIN and a BLACK CAT. All of them would look good around this wreath!

On FB you asked if we would make this wreath. I like it! I probably will make it with a bat hanging just below the "boo".

Love the hanging BOO in the middle. I would make this wreath but would probably replace the black flowers at the lower right with a ghost or a black cat.

It is very cute...which means I most likely wouldn't make it. I go for the spooky vibe at Halloween ...

I don't like Halloween or other spooky stuff, so I wouldn't make it.

I would like to make this for my teaching assistant who has an October birthday and loves Halloween decorations. It would look great on her front door or on the classroom door. Maybe I need to make two!

I am not keen on Halloween wreathes unless they have cats and bats on them. I like other holidays' wreathes though.
