Crochet Ornament Cover
A tree covered in plain ornaments does not make a cheery Christmas season. Christmas trees are supposed to be covered in bright and beautiful ornaments, and this Crochet Ornament Cover fits the bill. The rich colors and glittering yarn bring the festive season to life. Once the Christmas lights are turned on, the crochet covered ornament will shine with them, and your family can bask in the glow of your beautiful tree. This pattern would also be fun to use in an ornament exchange or white elephant party because you take something you already have, a plain ornament, and make a beautiful keepsake with this tutorial.

This crochet ornament cover looks beautiful! It is such a great idea, especially if you have a bunch of different clear Christmas balls. You can use different colors of yarn to make your tree fun and festive for the holiday season. If you get some Christmas balls on clearance after Christmas, this would be a great thrifty gift for the next year.

I am finding lots of patterns for ornament covers this week. If only these had been featured on your site a month ago or even a couple of weeks ago, I would have had time to make some but since it is only a few days away from Christmas now, I will have to start on these after Christmas for next year.

I love the granny square style with the star in the center. It makes a simple but elegant ornament.
