I can remember the days of bell bottoms. I know I would have loved a pair like these. This is really an involved project and I just don't think I have the patience to work thru this pattern. I just love these bell bottom pants.

What an adorable children's article. Bell bottoms use to be all the rage a while ago. I think the ruffles are just too adorable. If you have a little one, get started now because there are a lot of directions and I think it will take a while to complete. Would have loved to have had pictures with the directions.

these are hard to imagine as something you would wear but giving them a second thought I bet they'd be super comfy as lounging pants!

I don't know why it is critical to make a comment that these are not something one would make. I believe the lead in is "what do you think? " My grandaughter is 13 and I would never humiliate her into thinking she had to wear those unless for Halloween.

I am currently making this...I agree... the ruffles are a bit much...but it's why I decided to make it with out the ruffles. Simple. It's what I like about knitting and crocheting...you can always change what you don't like or add something to make it more your style. It's called improvising.

why is it we need to make rude mean comments? If you do not like something good but come on we are adults I would think. So tired of unnecessary mean commets. If you do not like move on. Thats what I do.
