This is an adorable hoodie sweater that was designed with a little boy in mind. There are a few pictures in the directions to help with the design which is always a plus. This design has a zipper but I am not seeing the directions to sew it in. At that juncture I guess I will have to call on my sister the tailor.

My boys would wear hoodies when they were little because they were always loosing their hats. While they were little I did very little crochet but this would have been one of those patterns where I would have make two. One for each of them. Times have also changes. Back then hoodies were relegated to sweats and not very attractive but functional.

One of our younger grandsons turns 2 next month, and since he lives in Arizona, he doesnt always need a heavy winter coat. This will be ideal for him, and the little boy modeling the sweater even looks a bit like him. I like that the colors will easily coordinate with jeans, but Ill still check with my daughter to see what colors she prefers.

I think the picture on this page, above, is an incorrect photo that does not represent the hooded sweater pattern. I liked the one shown above, but when I clicked on the pattern link it shows a purple and white striped one. It is nice, but not what I was looking for.
