Pumpkin Crochet Baby Beanie
Crochet something for that newborn baby this Halloween. They can't fit into many costumes yet, but you can certainly make an adorable Pumpkin Crochet Baby Beanie for them. Keep them on your lap while you hand out candy and know that they are safe and warm with this crochet beanie on their head. It's festive and useful all in one!

I really like that this project is specifically designed for a newborn. Its stretchy enough to accommodate most small infants although I wouldnt think it would be suitable for a preemie as is. Since the original project calls for using an I size hook, dropping down to a G size might work for a preemie. The other great thing is this is a unisex hat, so either baby boys or girls might wear it.

I see so many babies in strollers who go along with their older brothers and sisters trick or treating and this hat would be perfect for them! It would keep them warm, as well as join in the festivities. I could also see this as a fall and Thanksgiving hat. So cute!
