Candy Corn Halloween Decoration
Learn how to make your own Candy Corn Halloween Decorations to have the most festive Halloween yet. This is a quick and easy crochet pattern that can make your home look fun and exciting for Halloween. The pattern is worked in a continuous spiral with instructions for or without a handle so that you can put it anywhere in your home.
Crochet HookG/6 or 4 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Materials:
- Small amounts of white, orange and yellow 4-ply worsted weight yarn
- Size G crochet hook
- Yarn Needle
NOTE: Pattern is worked in continuous spiral.
To Begin: Using White Yarn: Chain 2
Round 1: 3 Single Crochet in 2nd chain from hook
Round 2: 2 Single Crochet in each chain sc around (6 sc)
Round 3: 2 Single Crochet in each chain sc around (12 sc)
Round 4: 1 Single Crochet in each chain, sc around (12 sc)
Change to Orange in last Single Crochet (12 sc)
Round 5: *1 Single Crochet in next 2 sc, 2 Single Crochet in next sc*, repeat around (16 sc)
Round 6: 1 Single Crochet in each SC around (16 sc)
Round 7: *1 Single Crochet in next 3 sc, 2 Single Crochet in next sc*, repeat around (20 sc)
Round 8: 1 Single Crochet in each sc around (20 sc)
Round 9: 1 Single Crochet in each sc around (20 sc)
Round 10: *1 Single Crochet in next 4 sc, 2 Single Crochet in next sc*, repeat around (24 sc)
Round 11: 1 Single Crochet in each chain around (24 sc)
Round 12: 1 Single Crochet in each chain around,
Changing to yellow in last sc (24 sc)
Round 13: 1 Single Crochet in each sc around (24 sc)
Round 14, 15, 16: Repeat Round 13
Knot off, Stuff Candy Corn with stuffing
Either Slipstich opening closed, or thread yarn needle and sew closed.
Bury Tails.
FOR Candy Corn Open with HANDLES
Round 14: 1 Single Crochet in next 4 sc, chain 4, skip 4 sc, Single Crochet in next 8 sc, chain 4, skip 4 sc, Single Crochet in next 4 sc
Round 15: 1 Single Crochet in next 4 sc, 4 Single Crochet in chain 4 loop, Single Crochet in next 8 sc, 4 Single Crochet in chain 4 loop, Single Crochet in last 4 sc, sl st to 1st sc.
Round 16: Single Crochet in each Single Crochet
Knot off. Bury ends.

Oh, my gosh! These would make fantastic bean bags! My church hosts a Fall Carnival, and theres always some sort of Corn Hole or Bean Bag game involved. Filled with a inside pouch full of beans, this would be a wonderful alternative to the usual square bags. Well be having our planning meeting right after Labor Day, so I have time to whip up a few samples. Thanks for the great idea!

This is a very cute idea, But - I think this color pattern would also look really neat on a cap!

This looks great for a mother and daughter to do in an afternoon and with crochet threads as ornaments on costumes also.
