Zane's Newborn Beanie
"This preemie hat is quick and easy to work up. It is perfect for a little tiny baby boy, or add a simple flower to customize it for a little girl. One skein of the required yarn will make four preemie size hats. It was a pleasure and an honor to create this hat for the NICU Crochet Challenge. Its name was inspired by my own premature baby, who is now a healthy 15 year old. Pattern also includes instructions to make this hat in Newborn size."

What a great looking hat for babies. I so need to make this Zane's Newborn Beanie. The pattern is well written and easy to follow and understand. I think this one should work up quickly and be a great one for gifts for new moms. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet hat pattern.

Theres that Hobby Lobby yarn again! I really need to get over there and find out what all the fuss is about. Kudos for coming up with this pattern as a donation especially for NICU Preemies. We have several hospitals in our area, and some will accept them and some wont. Individual hospital policy, but some of us are still working on at least getting them to the parents when they take Baby home.
