This dress might be my favorite little girl dress I've ever seen! It's just so colorful and poofy!

This is just precious! My little ballerinas in training all took a turn at wanting to be the Sugar Plum Fairy and would have loved a tutu like this. The bad news is this project is only in infant sizes. The good news is that it makes a wonderful photo prop. The yoke is worked the exact same way as the designers other Fairy Tale dresses, but her way of attaching is tulle is unique. Good thing theres both a video and photo tutorial.

In the pattern instructions, she does the top of the dress in a unicorn stripe, maybe to more easily show us the step by step process. ? However, I am IN LOVE with the stripe look versus the solid color ecru (or is it a super washed out pale yellow? Hard to tell on a computer monitor. I also had no idea that putting on the tulle skirting was so easy to do! It is the same thing as attaching fringe. Oh my, if you collected dolls, why not make this for one of your larger dolls to display?
