I am wondering if a cotton or a cotton blend would be better for a baby bib? I could be wrong about that. If you are making this for a li'l boy, just omit the flower applique! It could be cool to put Velcro there, too, as long as it is trimmed sufficiently so as not to scratch your little one! I happen to like the boho look, WITH the flower!

Baby bibs sure help keep those adorable baby clothes clean. At least for a little while, anyway. I like that these can be crocheted to match the clothing to be worn and it never hurts to have a couple of spare baby bibs in the baby diaper bag. Easy design.

I love this newborn baby set idea. I would never have thought to crochet a bib for a baby when I had my children. There are never enough bibs in the house with newborns and crocheting them yourself lends itself to customizing to match EVERY outfit. I know my Grands will be dressed to the tee.

Very cute design. I took the basic design and played with it to match a hat I had made for a friends grand daughter. It was to be a girly camo look but I didn't have the pink camo yarn so I did stripes. But the stitches are basic single and doubles. I will post a picture so you can see it.
