Starting in the corner of your piece, slip stitch, chain 3.

Chain 2. Skip 2.

Double crochet, chain 2, skip 2.

Repeat until you get to the corner.

For the corner, double crochet, chain 2, double crochet, skip 2.

For the next row, start back in that first double crochet you made and chain 5. That will be your first treble crochet and chain 1. In the same space, treble crochet, chain 1, and treble crochet again.

Skip one double crochet post. In the next double crochet post, treble crochet and chain 1, and repeat in the same stitch 4 more times.

Repeat step 7 until you get to the corner.

When you get to the corner work in the chain section, 5 treble crochet and chain 1.

Slip stitch the chain space of that original corner you worked in. Chain 5, single crochet in the next space.

Wow this is a very nice and easy Princess Tiara Edging. After reading the written pattern and trying to watch the video. I'm sure this well finish a plain afghan making it look so elegant. The video kept breaking up, I'm sure it is my internet, But I really don't need the video, the written pattern is done well and I can do this. I'll be adding this edging to my Great grand daughters baby blanket. Thank you so much for this free crochet pattern.
