Beginner

Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Materials List

Worsted weight yarn of your choosing
Size J crochet hook
Sewing needle
Dried lavender (or scent of your choosing)
Optional: teabag or fabric pouch for lavender

Laundry Sachet Instructions

ch 11 sts
Row 1: sc 10 starting in second ch from hook.
Row 2: ch1, turn. sc 10.
Rpt row 2 nine more times.
Sew the two squares together on three sides and stuff with dried lavender before sewing fourth side to form a pouch.
Add two sets of whip stitches for embellishment on two sides of the sachet.

Another awesome beginner crochet pattern with a fantastic video tutorial to show you step by step how to make this. This is a great starter project for someone who wants to learn crochet. This would make a good project for girl scouts or vacation bible schoolers to learn to make a gift for their Mom.
