Instructions for the Front Post and Double Back Post Crochet Stitch

Start by having one row of stitches after your chain complete.

Yarn over and insert your hook from the front to the back around the post, yarn over and pull up a loop.

Complete the stitch like you are completing a double crochet stitch. (i.e. yarn over pull through two, yarn over pull through two more).

For the back post double crochet, yarn over insert your hook from the back to the front around the post, yarn over and pull up a loop.

Complete this stitch like a double crochet stitch as well. (i.e. yarn over pull through two and yarn over pull through two more.)

Alternate between these two stitches until you complete your project.

I can't thank you enough for all the left handed tutorials. I am trying to teach a friend how to crochet and completely forgot she is left handed. Chaining was easy, and explaining certain things was also but when it came to some fancier stitches I was at a loss. These tutorials did the trick. Thanks again for posting them.
