Easy enough for a beginning crocheter and textured enough for the more experienced crocheter."

OMG, these are just amazing! They look just like scallop shells, and would be a wonderful addition to a beach themed table setting. I love how the unused shells nest inside each other just like the real thing. Now Ill have to find some yarn that mimics the natural colors. Basing it all off a Magic Circle is brilliant! That makes it a snap to create the unique shape.

What a cute idea.This is the first time I have seen shell coasters in the clam shell shape that is actually like a 3D design. I just love how the shells stack on the table! I would take it a step further and pick a variegated mercerized cotton to get that flecked multi-color effect like a real shell. Nice job on the pattern!
