I love these coasters! They remind me of some very old doilies my grandmother worked, especially with the ecru yarn. The colored circles are a nice touch, too. You could make a set of six or so, and make each circle a different color for each guest. Something along the lines of how wine charms are used to distinguish different glasses. A lovely project for any number of occasions.
