Pop Tab Tote
"Finished size of this tote is: 9-1/2" X 11-1/2". It was made using Bernat Baby Sport yarn and size F crochet hook. You will also need 256 pop tabs. (160 pop tabs for the tote and 96 pop tabs for the tote's handles.) The pop tabs are threaded onto the yarn and then crochet into the motif as you work. Each motif is joined as you so to make it a fairly fast project. The sides and bottom are then crochet and sewn onto the tot'es front and back to complete the project."

I remember not only when pop tabs first came out, but several projects to make with them as well. None were nearly as lovely and sophisticated as this project! The only problem is that it would take me several years to collect enough tabs, and all the places we might ordinarily get them donate the tabs to the local Ronald McDonald House. Ill keep this pattern handy anyway, and ask a few people to save tabs for me.

Okay, well, this here is an interesting tote! It is very hard to tell by the pics you wee above. So please, go to the blogger's page and click on the link where it says more pics...I thought it was a gray color yarn but it is actually a pastel variegated baby yarn.
