I am smack in the middle of one of the most ambitious projects Ive ever attempted (a crocheted afghan based on Frida Kahlos fantastical flowers), and the motifs for this purse are very similar in design. The afghan is way too large to carry around, but I would be proud to carry my yarn projects in this bag. And I am not a purse person either.

This caught my attention right away. I love granny squares and this is a form of them. It also brought back memories of the 70's. I really want to make it for my vacation bag. It's very easy, and it gives me a chance to use up my scraps. Thank you for offering it.

This is so cute, and so quick and simple. It would be a great project to make with the kids. I love that it uses bon bons. A friend bought me some for Christmas and I have been looking for patterns to use them on. This one takes such small amounts of yarn per colour, that it makes a great stash buster too!

I really wanted this pattern, but the link is not working

I just clicked it and it's working fine, pattern is there )
