Baby Owl Booties

These are so sweet! I always appreciate a pattern that gives me the stitch count at the end of the round. That makes it easier to see where I have messed up. However, I would replace the buttons with black crocheted circles. Depending on what the flower is made from, that might need replacing, too. And Im stealing her motto to make a sign for my craft room wall!

NEVER put button, especially tiny ones on anything a baby can pull on and they love to pull on their toes. The buttons and roses pose a choking hazard. Also, sew, do not hot glue. They are cute but not safe with thoe buttons.

I love these little shoes, I recently started crocheting the pair, however I did make some changes, I added an ankle strap, rather than a strap along the bottom part of the foot. The strap is a bit thicker and makes the little shoe look more dresser for special occasions such as church etc.. Either way the shoe is a very adorable shoe that any mother woud love on her child :). Thank you for the pattern :).

I think the pattern is adorable but using buttons for the eyes and used for a baby tive me pause.
