I like how the bag sits a bit off center, but I have to agree with some of the other commentersthat particular shade of brown doesnt do it for me either. I can see it in a bright green with lots of Spring posies all over it (dont forget some strategically placed ribbons), but Im having a hard time imagining this with Autumn flowers. Leaves and acorns, yes, but there arent that many flowers that bloom in the Fall.

I agree with the previous poster. Brown is a nice color but not in this case. I do like the design and pattern. It's well written, easy to follow and turns out very pretty. I will make I have different colors in mind. Thank you for sharing this idea and pattern.

An interesting choice of color here. I am hoping the brown is a little bit more lively looking in person. What I think is- how great would this be as a spectator bag done up in black with bright white flowers?! Now that's classy -) I have nothing against brown, it is a great neutral. The brown would be good with pink flowers. Easy to make, with plenty of step by step pics along the way. It is a great advanced beginner's project for sure.
