I am sure a lot of people will not even know what this is. Most of us that crochet will because we are from that age group. There is a lot of detail to the cassette tape pouch and I know I would love to have one for myself. Wouldn't it be cute as a tote for all of your new electronic gadgets?

Oh my, this is just too cute. I certainly remember those tapes. Especially when they screwed up and the tape just oozed out. When I make this I will add a piece that looks like just that. Plus embroider the name of the one I am gifting, right on the tape face.

A few of my teen granddaughters are into Retro looks, but Im not sure even they would recognize a cassette tape if they saw one. One of my sisters, however, was infamous for her mix tapes. Shes a teacher now so she can always use pouches for small items. I think I might hold onto this project until her birthday in April.
