Under The Sea Hexagon Blanket
"Crocheted Hexagons are a perfect project to do some stash busting and creating beautiful crochet afghans, blankets and couch throws. This free crochet hexagon blanket pattern is made using worsted weight yarn held double to make a mostly solid hexagon. In this free pattern you will have the instructions to make full crochet hexagons along with half hexagons. If you are a beginner or just need a little extra help getting started you can watch this Full Step-by-Step Crochet Video Tutorial on YouTube! Happy Crocheting! These hexagon motifs are considered to be an Intermediate Skill Level Pattern written in US Terms but can easily be made by a determined beginner with the added help of the video tutorial. For this pattern you will mostly be using double crochet stitches while working in the round. You will create chain spaces for the corners of the hexagon to transition to a different side and the center of each side has a double crochet post stitch. The full crochet hexagons are worked in the round wit no turns and only front post doubled crochet in the center of each side. The half hexagons are worked in rows as we need to turn. On the half hexagons you will alternate front post and back post double crochet in the center stitch of the sides as we are turning the piece and working from the right side and wrong side. "
