Simply Mad Throw
You can really go crazy with the Simply Mad Throw. This crochet blanket is straight forward and you can adapt it however you desire. Make it all one color or create a rainbow of color. You can make a small lapghan or a full sized crochet afghan. It's really up to you and there's not too much method to this madness. You work it up with two strands of yarn to make it even more crazy and brilliant! Do we sound insane? We do love this blanket a lot, so we probably are mad for it.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I love these bright, cheery colors! This would be absolutely awesome in an all white room for the pop of color needed! I'm not sure I would use the black for the trim cause it's too austere for my taste. Maybe two rows of white with the other seven colors of the rainbow. This would also be perfect for a child's nursery being done in bold colors. The artist has such a nice pattern laid out for use too!

Be advised that the actual instructions are not on the linked page above. There is an option for the written pattern, but the best option is probably the Ravelry download. It took me a while but I found it here https//www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/simply-mad == -throw Do be prepared to be absolutely mesmerized by this talented designers other offerings, too! If vibrant colors are your thing, then this is the designer for you!

Wow! I really had to hunt for the pattern for this simply mad throw but I think it was worth it. This throw is unique in that you are crocheting with two stands of yarn. This is truly a warm blanket. It will get pricey but sometimes you deserve to treat yourself a little

I can't quite put my finger on it but there is something about this throw I just love. I love colorful but usually only in a floral pattern where the colors make sense. Not that these colors do not compliment/contrast each other because they do, but the assembly is what really makes the project. I really like this simply "mad" throw. Thank you for the free pattern.

At first it seems like you cannot find the actual pattern for this ultr-colorful blanket. Look deeply and you will see an underlined blurb in one of the paragraphs. It will take you to Ravelry's website , directly to the pattern information. I love super colorful things. I also think the addition of the black with white trim gives it a little bit of an unexpected look. I would LOVE to try this for my home! Best part is that it's just single crochets and you can make it any colors you choose.

Oh dear I see I forgot to attach the photograph when making my previous comment. I have tried and tried over and over again to attach the photograph this time, but I keep getting a popup message which says that the jpeg is empty. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? It is very attractive yarn and I would really like to share it.

Oh this throw is whacky and whimsical and lovely all at once. The denizens of Madlandia have done it again! I fell in love with the look and had to make one immediately but I didn't have anything like the yarn used. I used the yarn pictured below and sent the throw with my brother-in-law for my sister-in-law. She whatsapped me immediately to tell me she was thrilled. A yummy throw indeed.

The colors are what first attracted me to this afghan. I also like the texture that comes from alternating the single chains in the stitch and in the space. I am wondering if anyone has tried any other color schemes they like with this pattern. If so, I would love to hear some additional ideas.

I really like this Simply Mad Throw. I did find the pattern on Ravely.com, Thanks AFC Editor Julia. This pattern sounds easy enough to make, but I think the pattern isn't very easy to read. There are way to many chart things to read to figure this one out. But I will figure it out and make it. Thank you for this free crochet pattern.

It is called the "Crunch Stitch" on YouTube there are very well done videos on it. I love this stitch done with headbands and earwarmers. I just finished a cowl with this stitch.

This is a beautiful Simple Mad Throw, but can I ask how to get the pattern? I clicked the link "click here for the free crochet pattern" and it just takes you to her blog with pictures but no pattern. It's a shame because I like this one. Thanks anyways..
