Knit Look Chunky Afghan
"Who wouldn't like a knit look chunky Afghan? This stitch imitates the knit stitch in knitting and is worked using a combination of single crochet and slip stitches. The pattern also includes a video that shows you how to work your slip stitches loose. This afghan grows quickly as you use a chunky yarn and big hook. You can combine as many or as few colors you want to suit your taste or decor. I am sure you will love the giant tassels too."
Crochet HookQ or 16mm hook
Yarn Weight(6) Super Bulky/Super Chunky (4-11 stitches for 4 inches)

I really like the way the stitching looks on this afghan. If I didnt know, I would have guessed it was knit. This is a great faux knit stitch but works up faster since it is crochet. That is really the main reason I prefer to crochet because it is so much faster and easier. I am always dropping stitches when I knit.

Wow! So cool looking! It is modern, streamlined, and bold. Every thing I like! The colors are perfect! Now, you must understand that you will be buying a skein of super bulky yarn to make EACH stripe you see. There are instructions for making your afghan bigger, as well, so keep in mind how much more yarn you will need based on how many stripes you want to make. It is easy to figure out!
