A neat twist on how to work an afghan- just make seven differently colored strips and join them all together with a stripe border in between. It makes it easily transportable, portable, and great at fooling you into thinking you have done more work than you have. A great thing if you are one of those crocheters who crave that instant gratification!

This really is a happy afghan. It's easy, it's the kind you can take along to work on anywhere and you can customize it in any colors that you like. I am thinking how nice it would look in red, white and blue. It would make a very eye catching afghan to take on picnics.

The colors of this Happyghan are so fabulous that I really must start making it today! And because the pattern is rated Easy it means I will be able to work on it in the evenings while spending time with the family. Once our younger son sees his sisters lovely new afghan I suspect he will be wanting one too, lol.
